Flagrock Farmstay
Flagrock Farmstay is located at Frenches Creek in the beautiful Scenic Rim. It is an easy 1 hour drive from Brisbane and 45 minutes from Ipswich.
Frenches Creek is 7kms from the main township of Boonah. Boonah offers all amenities plus fabulous coffee shops, award-winning restaurants, Mitre 10, bakery, butcher, gym, banks, Ritchie’s IGA and a post office. Flagrock Farmstay is an easy 7 minutes drive to the Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm, Bunjurgen Estate Winery and 8 minutes to Mt Alford and the award-winning Scenic Rim Brewery.
For those who like to stretch their legs, Flagrock Farm is close to many hiking trails at Moogerah (Mt Edwards), Mt Barney, Mt Maroon, Mt Greville, Mt French and the hiking trails in the Main Range National Park (Mt Cordeaux, Bare Rock and Mt Mitchell). The Frog Buttress rock climbing park is also a short drive away at the Mt French National Park.
Flagrock Farm is in a corrider that has an abundance of native wildlife, birds, native flora and fauna. The farm is pet friendly, however due to the abundance of wildlife and livestock on our farm, we respectfully ask our guests to keep an eye on your pets at all times. If they have a tendency to hunt and chase, please ensure your pets are on a lead.
The farm has a fantastic outdoor area with a fireplace and BBQ beside the cottage and also down by the creek. We encourage outdoor dining where possible for guests to take advantage of the wonderful views. There are lots of photo opportunities and plenty of room for exploring.
Complimentary breakfast provisions of bread, muesli, milk, jams and spreads along with tea and coffee is provided for your stay.
The farm is home to free range chickens, farm dogs, cattle, goats and our gorgeous donkeys. If you would like to know more about the animals and the farm, owners Doug and Leonie Harvey love a good chat and would be more than willing to provide further information about the farm. Luxury Glamping
The Eco Tent was constructed in November 2022 for our guests to enjoy the views, morning sunrises and to experience a unique style of glamping. The adjoining cottage was renovated in 2018 and was once a disused dairy for several decades. It is now used as an exclusive space for our guests alongside our Eco Tent with a fully-functioning kitchen, bathroom and recreational area.
The Eco tent has a Queen bed and can sleep a maximum of 2 people. The cottage does have a fold out single bed and day bed and would be suitable for small children who can comfortably sleep on their own. The Eco tent is not air-conditioned but does contain a fan. All 4 sides of the tent does open up to ensure you catch the breezes. The tent is adequately fly-screened and secure. The adjoining cottage is air-conditioned and is a recreational space, games room and library. You will have exclusive access to the cottage, outdoor dining area, fire pit and BBQ facilities during your stay. You will also have exclusive access to the facilities down by the creek with guaranteed peace and privacy during your stay.

The Garden Cottage
The Garden Cottage at Flagrock Farmstay is the perfect family friendly getaway in the Scenic Rim.
The cottage has a Queen bed and a trundle day bed that converts into 2 single beds. It is ideal for 2 children to sleep on. The cottage is air-conditioned and is self-contained with a kitchen and bathroom. You will have exclusive access to the cottage, outdoor dining area, fire pit and BBQ facilities during your stay.
The Garden Cottage is suitable for families with 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children due to bedding configurations. Please note there is no TV, however Wifi is available as well as board games.
The cottage is pet-friendly, however you are responsible for your pet at all times. Pets can sleep inside the cottage but are not allowed on the furniture or day bed. The Garden cottage is fully fenced and safe for your pets during the day. Please clean up after your pets and keep the facilities in the same state as when you entered.

If you’re tossing up whether or not to stay here- let this be your sign… book it! We live in an apartment and wanted to get away for some fresh country air, this beautiful farm stay is exactly what we needed! We were greeted by Moo the adorable pup and freshly baked bread waiting for us… we spent the night relaxing by the fire with no tv, no reception and million dollar views! The loveliest hosts and farm stay, highly recommend…

A quaint little old dairy now a nicely restored cottage with all the creature comforts. Such a beautiful spot so tranquil with all the birds surrounded by mountains. Nice and private and such a bonus to be able to bring our fur child.
It's lovely to explore the property. There is a nice creek to sit at and have picnics.
Leonie and Doug are great hosts.
Definitely need two nights here to enjoy especially if you wanna hike up one of the close by mountains.

Leonie's place is exactly as described and even more! It is beautiful and the charm is something the photos can't convey properly. There are constant birdsongs around. Super clear skies at night. And there's a windmill too! Love the beautiful chickens. Very relaxing place indeed!

The farm stay cottage is a perfect hidden treasure set against beautiful scenery, the ultimate serenity location. The accommodation itself including all furnishings is of the highest quality, with thought given to every detail. Leonie was so welcoming and most accommodating. It was hard to leave! Will be looking forward to checking in again.

It was amazing, perfect, couldn’t be better than that. So clean, providing every little thing. We enjoyed the amazing fresh bread for breakfast.
We definitely back again as it is not very far from goldcoast, our city. Breathtaking sky at night. Amazing fire place. We enjoyed a lot.❤️❤️
